Visit a Museum for Free on Saturday through ‘Museum Day Live!’

Museum Day Live logo Smithsonian Magazine’s “Museum Day Live” is an annual event in which participating museums across the country open their doors to anyone presenting a Museum Day Live ticket for free. A ticket is good for you and one guest.

 

This year, Museum Day Live is being held Saturday, Sept, 23, 2017, and nearly 20 museums in Illinois are participating. They include:

  • Adler Planetarium in Chicago
  • Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago
  • Aurora Regional Fire Museum in Aurora
  • National Hellenic Museum in Chicago
  • The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago
  • Chicago History Museum in Chicago
  • The Morton Arboretum in Lisle
