Summer Guide: $1 Movies at Studio Movie Grill in Wheaton

We’re ready to start telling you about the cheap, family-focused summertime film series that are a budget-friendly way to cool off on a hot day. We should soon have information to post on series in St. Charles, Elgin, Batavia, Oswego and more!


Studio Move Grill in Wheaton is among the theater chains that offers a cheap, family-friendly morning film series for families in the summer. The Studio Movie Grill moves are $1 a ticket and shown at 11 a.m. on weekdays in the summer.But first up is the “Children’s Summer Series” at Studio Movie Grill, which features $1 screenings of recent, popular children’s films. Studio Movie Grill in Wheaton is located in Rice Lake Square, near the Whole Foods Market. It features theaters with leather seating and a full food and drink menu; you push a button to bring a waiter or waitress to your seat and the food is served to you before and during the show.


The summer series features one movie shown every weekday (Monday through Friday) at 11 a.m. through late August. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased in advance. You’ll find these listed on the Go West Calendar, too!
