Summer Guide: $1 Movies for Kids at Cinemark in North Aurora

Thursday, May 25th, 2017 by

After telling you about cheap, family-friendly movie series this summer in St. Charles, Wheaton, Elgin, Batavia and Oswego, we are (likely) wrapping up this topic with one last series in North Aurora and West Dundee.

Cinemark offers a “Summer Movie Clubhouse” featuring PG-rated movies shown on weekday mornings. Tickets are $1 per show when purchased at the box office, or you can pay $5 for 10 movies when purchased in advance at the box office or at cinemark.com. Here’s a FAQ about how the Summer Movie Clubhouse, and the 10-week series punch card, works.

Cinemark-MovieClubhouse

Cinemark has theaters all over the country; about seven are participating in Illinois, including locations in Deer Park, Evanston, Joliet, Melrose Park, Woodridge, the Cinemark Spring Hall Mall and XD in West Dundee and the Cinemark Tinseltown USA on Lincolnway in North Aurora. Each theater shows the movies at different times; for instance, the Tinseltown USA in North Aurora shows its films on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. The Cinemark Spring Hill Mall & XD shows the series on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. You’ll find both listed on the Go West Calendar.

Here’s the lineup for summer 2017 at the Tinseltown USA in North Aurora, with all showings in North Aurora at 10 a.m.
