The weekend “Kids Dream” $3 film series at Marcus Theatres’ Elgin Cinema gets underway this weekend. Now we have another family-friendly movie series to add, also starting this weekend, and this one features $1 admission and an option for free tickets.
Goodrich Quality Theatres sponsors a Weekend Morning Movies series each year at its participating theaters, including the Kendall 10 in Oswego and the Randall 15 IMAX in Batavia. The series gets underway March 3 and runs through April 30. Each movie will be shown at 10 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Regarding admission, those belonging to GQT’s Frequent Moviegoer Club (FMG) can see the movies free of charge by presenting their FMG card at the box office. (Each member can get up to six free admissions with their FBM card per show.) Non-members will be charged $1 a ticket. You can sign up for FMB membership here or at the theater.
For reviews and the age-appropriateness of the following movies, Common Sense Media is always a great resource.
