  • Luxies bills itself as the “oldest private social club in Aurora,” but it opens its doors to the public on Fridays during Lent from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • 416 High Street in Aurora
  • Unable to find prices for this one, but thanks to Molly for pointing it out!

Knights of Columbus Council 2191

  • This one was added by Jackie, and Patti said these are being hosted (unlike previous years) at St. Peter’s Church at 1881 Kaneville Road in Geneva. The Knights of Columbus website and newsletter are unclear on the times, but it looks like they are taking place on March 17, March 24 and April 7.
  • $12 for adults, $6 for children younger than 10, based on pricing from last year.
  • Note that based on the St. Peter’s bulletin, there will be no fish fry on Friday, March 10, and the Friday, March 17, event will feature a traditional St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage, etc. Unclear if fish will also be offered.

Knights of Columbus St. Therese of Jesus Council 15763

  • This one was added by Heather, who sent in a flyer saying this Lent Fish Fry will be held every Friday during Lent from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the St. Therese Church Parish Hall at 271 N. Farnsworth Avenue in Aurora.
  • I can’t find the cost or any other details for this one, so if anyone finds it, please let me know!
