If your family is looking for a special evening adventure this holiday season, you should consider a trip to Cosley Zoo in Wheaton!
Each December, Cosley Zoo is transformed into a winter wonderland with 20,000 twinkling lights creating spectacular displays during the Festival of Lights and Tree Sales, There is also an amazing selection of Christmas trees available for purchase, hot chocolate and holiday gifts, too. The festival, which began the day after Thanksgiving, continues through the end of December. The zoo is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily; lights come on at 3 p.m. All proceeds support the zoo, its animals, programs, and exhibit development.
Zoo admission is free during the Festival of Lights and Tree Sales. Donations are greatly appreciated. Cosley Zoo is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Cosley Zoo is open 9 a.m. to noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
